Leaving Hoboken, Lackawanna trains had to pass through Bergen Hill Tunnel. This is the west portal. The diesel at left is heading out of Hoboken while the multiple-unit electric commuter train is heading in. These olive green commuter cars served for almost 60 years in suburban New Jersey.
